Thank you for the temp work around Paul.  This is much appreciated.  This should be all sorted out by the time OLB goes live and is out of Beta.

    Thank you,

ProLogic got a reaction from ComputerPlano in New AVG RMM Pricing?
    Hi,

Is there any plans to restructure the pricing model LPI currently use?

I would rather pay for devices I manage on a month by month basis.
Also devices that only have a small network presence with nothing much you can manage or monitor should be complementary (ie Network Printers, VoIP Phones, IP CCTV, etc).

    Thanks

Pricing is discussed here -> http://community.cloudcare.avg.com/topic/415-online-backup-features-request/?hl=%2Bcost+%2Bbackup#entry2116

    In a nutshell:

"As for US pricing see below. AS Paul stated no limit on devices under customer account. We had done lot of price analysis. Per device model may look cheaper from Marketing perspective but may turn out more expansive when you start using service (administratively difficult to go back and forth with customers).     Band – Silver (1 to 1000 GBs) $6.00 per 25 GBs per month   Band – Gold (1001 to 2000 GBs) $5.75 per 25 GBs per month   Band – Platinum (2001+ GBs) $5.50 per 25 GBs per month"

How do you delete files that have been backed up but don't need to store online? I unchecked them in the software so they aren't backing up anymore, but the original backup is still on the site. In the SOS software (which is what this is based off of) you can switch to classic view and remove files from there.

Please consider adding a link that informs us of the operational status of the AVG CloudCare Services. An excellent example of one that I use all the time is in the link below.

    http://status.apps.rackspace.com/

Loss of service happens. It is a must that we can quickly respond to our clients with the assurance that the issue is being worked on and will be resolved ASAP. Such a feature would allow us the ability of determine if an issue is on our side or yours quickly. From your end it would reduce calls to you when you should be focused on resolving the issue.

This "Status Page" can also be used to forewarn us of major (or minor) upgrades that are being pushed out to the field. Being forwarned and ready to respond making us look like we are on top of the game - Ron

ProLogic reacted to John Rutkowski in So how do you restore?
So you backed up. Something happened to that machine and it was wiped or re-imaged. How do you re-install and restore a backup? There seems to be no way to link the new machine image with an existing backup.Even when the same name.

Sharing files on the web interface should be sharing, not creating a ZIP file. Open a web link to the files like Drop Box.

ProLogic reacted to PCBMerchy in New AVG RMM Pricing?
The two reasons I never signed on with LPI was 1. the up-front, annual payment and contract; and 2. the pricing scheme.  Both GFIMax and AVG have spoiled me by the "pay as you go" feature and I really think that's the model people will be switching over to instead of making you sign up for a year and sign up ahead of time for X number of licenses.  It may not be a big deal for larger companies but for the little squirts like me, it's a no go situation.

I really hope the pricing and contract changes to what Cloudcare offers - monthly or annually and you pay for what you use.  I'll sign up tomorrow and start deploying immediately.  Until then, I'm still looking around...

How about adding a Refresh button on the Customers Screen just like there is on the Dashboard screen....better yet auto refresh it when you return back to the customers screen via the "Back to Partners" button.

    Hi,

Thanks for your post, this is a good point as as been raised a few times, also by myself.
    http://community.cloudcare.avg.com/topic/100-installed-over-capacity-alert-andor-report/

I would advise you set the Alerts on each customer to notify you of any new installs and try to keep an eye on your End Users.
At customer level -> Alerts ->Manage Alerts -> Default
    Bottom Window
Put a Tick in Service Installed Successful,
    and tick Service Uninstalled.

This way you will be alerted to new installs/uninstalls.

You can remove any unauthorised device by clicking the > arrow in the device list and clicking the remove button.

    Thanks

I have a client that has a copy of their cloud install on the server. They purchased 10 seats and have now installed 11. We have no idea when this occurred.

There should be a way for the portal to limit seats if partner managed (and paying).

You guys are missing the point about Managed Antivirus and Managed Services. The key word being MANAGED. Out users expect us to take care of their computers and we do it so it does not interrupt them. We have maintenance windows where we can reboot machines .

I the Kaseya support AVG, We can schedule when to deploy, when to update. CloudCare MUST give us the tools to schedule the updates during time periods that we know about.

Spring this on us and the users is not acceptable!

ProLogic got a reaction from John Rutkowski in Dead Device Report
    Hi,

Can we have a 'Dead Device' report, a report that shows any devices not updated in X amount of days, (X being 30 / 60 / 90 days).

That way after a little investigation we can cancel that licence.

It's quite important to us, we pay for the licenses as part of a service agreement with the EU, thus saving us money.

    Cheers.
