We havent raised the issue yet, I will instruct our techs to reach out to begin the process, this issue appears to be spreading as we have had another reported case of the same problem with another client who has not had this problem in the past, these are all older installs that have recently been upgraded to the latest version.

This also appears to be impacting some Server 2012 R2 servers. We have had an issue with a client with a 2012 R2 this morning which required us to restart the AVAST Online Backup Service as it was taking up all of the resources, once restarted everything came good.

Morning All,
I have a client who has AVAST Online Backup installed and intermittently we are having service lock-ups when running the backup, what is happening is the SAgent.Service.exe process is using 99% of CPU resources and makes the system unusable, once we kill the process the system returns to normal.
This only seems to be impacting systems running Server 2008 R2 Standard and is impacting none of our other clients.
We have updated AVAST to the latest version, tried reinstalling and re-setting up and tried running the AVAST cleaner and performing a clean re-install, our solution for the moment is to run a script to restart the service every 3 hours to avoid the issue from impacting end users.
Are there any fixes for this issue?
