Introducing Gen™.

Effective September 12, 2022, NortonLifeLock and Avast have merged as a multi-brand company with a new name and logo as Gen. Our new company name is inspired by the generations of people we help protect – yesterday, today and tomorrow.

What does this mean?

Currently, there are no changes to your partner agreements or billing arrangements. In the coming months, your Sales & Marketing Account Team will help ensure a plan is in place to communicate important changes.

This company name and logo change does not impact our family of trusted brands. As Gen continues to grow and evolve as a multi-brand company in a single category, we are committed to each of our unique brands (Norton, Avast, LifeLock, Avira, AVG, ReputationDefender and CCleaner) to help us grow and reach new audiences.

If you have questions, please refer to the FAQ on our existing websites at NortonLifeLock.com/partner and Avast.com/business/partners or contact your Account Manager. Over time, these sites will transition to GenDigital.com.

We’re excited to share with you that Avast has completed our previously announced merger with Norton LifeLock. This week, two leaders in Cyber Safety have officially united to help make the connected world a safer place. We wanted to share this pivotal moment with you as we bring some of Cyber Safety’s most trusted names, Norton, Avast, Avira, AVG, LifeLock, and ReputationDefender, together to protect digital freedom. With more than 100 years of combined expertise, we’ll help empower over half a billion people, small businesses, and partners with the technology and services they need to safely, privately, and confidently experience all that the digital world has to offer.
At the moment, we don’t foresee any operational changes in our way of working. However, we will reach out in advance if anything with that will change. 
We look forward to our continued partnership and the endless possibilities ahead.
